Credit Cost: The AI Image Generator uses 3 credits per image generated.
Step 1: Open the Image Generator
Open your project in CreateStudio.
On the right side of the Canvas, click the AI Bot icon.
Select Generate Image from the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Write Your Prompt
In the text box, describe the image you want to create.
Pro Tip: Be as specific as possible! Include details about the subject, lighting, colors, and background (e.g., "A medium close-up shot of an astronaut in space with cinematic lighting." instead of just "an astronaut").
Step 3: Customize Your Settings
Before generating, adjust your output preferences in the side panel:
Number of Images: Choose how many variations you want to create at once.
Resolution & Aspect Ratio: Select the image size that best fits your video format (e.g., 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for TikTok/Reels, or 1:1 for square posts).
Pro Tip: Most AI image models are natively trained on square 1024 × 1024 pixel images. Selecting the 1:1 ratio yields the highest level of detail, best composition, and fewest visual artifacts. You can always crop or frame it inside your canvas later!
Style: Pick an art style (such as 3D Render, Anime, Photographic, or Cinematic) to match the visual look of your video.
Step 4: Generate Your Image
Click the Generate Image button.
Your generated results will appear in a grid window right next to the AI Bot panel.
Click on any thumbnail preview to enlarge it.
From the enlarged view, choose how to use your image:
Click Save to Media Library to store it in your project files for later.
Click Add to Timeline to place it directly into your video project right away.
