Step 1: Open the AI Voiceover Generator
Open a project.
Click on the AI Bot icon.
Select Create Voiceover from the menu options.
Step 2: Choose Your AI Voice
Tip: Since generating voiceover consumes 4.5 credits per 1,000 characters, use the Preview tool first!
Listen to the different voice samples in the menu to pick the perfect tone for your video before generating the final audio.
Step 3: Add Your Script
Type or paste your text directly into the script box.
Character Limit: The generator supports up to 1,000 characters (including spaces) per clip. If your script is longer, simply break it up into smaller segments and generate them separately.
Pro Tip: Write and edit your script in a simple app like Notepad or TextEdit first. When you are ready, copy it and press Ctrl+V (Windows) or Cmd+V (Mac) to paste it into the script field.
Step 4: Add Natural Pauses (Optional)
To make your voiceover sound more natural, you can control the timing between words or sentences by inserting pause tags:
Type [PAUSE=S] where S is the number of seconds to pause.
Example: How are you? [PAUSE=3] I am good. (The AI will wait 3 seconds before reading the next sentence).
Milliseconds: You can also use decimals for precise timing. For example, [PAUSE=3.5] creates a 3.5-second (3,500 millisecond) break.
Step 5: Generate and Import Your Audio
Once your script and voice are set, click Generate Speech (this will use 4.5 credits per 1,000 characters).
Click Import to bring the voiceover into your project.
Your new audio track will automatically appear in your Project Folder. Rename the audio track, and simply drag and drop it onto the canvas or timeline to align it with your video!
