🤔 Can I create or import my own characters?

You can import your drawings but you can't add actions like walking, dancing, etc. They will remain static images.

🤔 I have a picture of my company's mascot. Can I re-create and animate it in CreateStudio?

No, it is not possible to build your own custom characters in CreateStudio.

🤔I have a puppet file from Adobe Character Animator. Can I import it to CreateStudio?

No, CreateStudio does not support .CHPROJ files or any other similar files from other platforms

🤔 I have a vector/SVG set for a character with different poses and actions. Can I import and animate it in CreateStudio?

You can import .svg files but CreateStudio only treats them as either shapes or images. If it's a single-layer .svg, CreateStudio treats it as a shape. If it's a multi-layer .svg, CreateStudio treats it as an image.

So, no, you can't animate a character from vector sets in CreateStudio.

🤔 I had a professional animator create a custom character for me. Can I import it to CreateStudio?

If you have a custom character created and animated using other platforms, you may only import it in .mov or a .webm format. (See: Importing Media)

It should have a transparent background so that it can blend well with the rest of the elements in CreateStudio.

However, because it's a video file, you cannot make any changes or add actions to the imported character.

🤔 Can I make a character that looks like me?

You can’t create a character entirely from scratch, but with CreateStudio’s 3D Creator feature, you can customize and adjust the character’s appearance to your liking.
